I first became familiar with the pen and ink medium as a high school student, and ever since, that artistic expression has been a valuable therapeutic outlet. I am a school teacher by trade, but an artist by passion. Many of my designs tend to be sentimental in nature, whether it be a rendering of local buildings or landmarks in our geographical area, a scene or memory of times gone by, or favorite pets or objects. My inspirations vary.

I am so thankful to my high school art teacher, my family, friends and patrons, my community and my dear husband of 20 years who have all supported my artistic endeavors and encouraged me to take advantage of opportunities to gain exposure. I have also been very blessed with the opportunity to have some of my illustrations published in a patriotic coloring book from Waterbrook Multnomah called "God Bless America - A Patriotic Coloring Book" which was released June 14th, 2016. It is also available for ordering on Amazon.com as well as Walmart.com.
